Escape into Oregon's wine country in the Vermilion Wine Bar & Cellar, nestled in the Lawrence Gallery. Enjoy a glass recommended by our experienced wine steward by the fireplace, or savor it as you peruse the art. Currently on view are a collection of paintings that show off a rich palette of cadmium red, crimson, scarlet and burgundy.  This includes the ephemeral skies of Jeff White and expressionistic flowers of Romona Youngquist, as well as the textured fields of color of Fred Holcomb and geometric abstractions of Tom Anderson and Jennifer Gray.  Terrence Gasca’s glowing cityscapes and Margret Short’s still life paintings marked by vivid chiaroscuro explore this theme on a more intimate scale.
